These do not have the same warranty as the Ravenna, nor do they have the looks, but they are easier on the wallet! They feature solid materials, an attractive two-tone look, and a three-year warranty.

The Classic Accessories Ravenna Pole style patio heater covers are made from Gardelle One durable outdoor woven polyester fabric, in a taupe-gray color that is quite stylish but does not draw attention to itself. It is coated with a UV-protection spray that will help prevent the cover from fading in the sunlight. Additionally, the Ravenna cover features a two-layer design, with the Gardelle fabric on the outer layer, and an inner water-resistant backing for further water protection. Note: Classic Accessories doesn’t call this inner layer waterproof, but it is pretty close to waterproof. There may be some circumstances where water gets in, but such events are fairly rare.

We note that this cover is designed to fit four-sided pyramid heaters only. There are some pyramid heaters that only have three sides, and this cover will not likely fit the three-sided heater design, so be wary. The Classic Accessories Ravenna pole heater cover has a few helpful features that make it stand out among the competition. It has an elegant finish and fit and simply looks more attractive than many of the other covers on the market. It also features a high-quality zipper, and elastic cinch cords on the bottom of the cover to secure the fabric around the heater. Additionally, velcro swatches are included to help hold the cover in the appropriate position.

Protected air vents are supplied on this cover to allow fresh air to flow through the cover, and to prevent it from blowing over in high winds. These air vents are placed in pockets so that water cannot penetrate the vents. The Ravenna line of covers also features handles to make the placement of the cover over the heater, and the removal of the cover, as easy as possible. When dealing with tall heaters, the handles are a big help in assisting in getting the cover on and off.

The Veranda line of covers is a step down from the Ravenna line of patio heater covers but is still a high-quality choice, and appropriate for many who don’t want to spend extra on covers. They are protected under a three-year warranty, which is pretty good, but not lifetime! Like the Ravenna line, these come in two options for patio heating, a pole style cover, and a pyramid style cover. We will look at both here.

Classic Accessories Veranda Stand Up Heater Cover

The Classic Accessories Veranda Pole Style Heater Cover features a two-tone brown design scheme that looks decent but is certainly a step down from the Ravenna line in terms of aesthetics. These covers do feature the same fit, which is nice, and the fabric is Gardelle, similar to the Ravenna line. There is an outer Gardelle layer, and then a second laminated inner layer that is water-resistant. Like the Ravenna line, the Veranda line is considered water-resistant, not waterproof. However, in most cases, water is completely protected from the unit, and the cover is not penetrated by water. These covers are not UV-protected, which is a negative, and may fade over time. The Veranda covers are a step down in quality from the Ravenna line of covers, but are still fairly high quality, and can be worked with to be improved upon. The biggest step down is the warranty, which is only 3 years. That said, 3 years is still quite good for furniture covers, and is respectable.

The vents on the Veranda cover are designed in a clever way, with pockets to protect against water intrusion. The vents assist with mildew protection and help keep the cover stable in winds. The Veranda line of covers features an elastic bottom cinch designed to hold the cover tightly against the heater and also features velcro patches to assist in securing the cover. These covers also use high-quality zippers and have handles to assist in the placement and removal of the cover. When reaching high up in the air to place the cover, having handles is a significant help!

3. AZ Patio Heaters Line of Patio Heater Covers

AZ Patio Heater is one of the top brands of patio heaters on the market, and they have several products we are quite fond of. The sell patio heater covers in two primary configurations, a pole heater style cover and a pyramid heater style cover. These will be examined below.

AZ Patio Heaters Pole Style Heater Cover

The biggest advantage of the AZ Patio Heaters line of heater covers is that if you have purchased an AZ Patio Heaters unit, you can be sure that this cover is compatible with your unit. They are available in five color options, which is a nice feature, though the material doesn’t look amazing in any color configuration. These units are waterproof, which is a plus, but the single layer 210D fabric will may out fairly quickly, and many users find that after a year or so, they have holes and tears in the fabric. That said, these are covered under a one year warranty, so there is some protection for buyers.

AZ Patio Heaters Pyramid Heater Cover

The AZ Patio Heaters Pyramid Style Heater Cover is not very attractive, and when placed on a pyramid heater, completely obscures the pyramid shape of the heater. Additionally, the cover material has a wrinkly appearance that is not inspirational, certainly. That said, the cover is effective at keeping the water away from your pyramid heater, and keeping bugs and animals from taking up residence inside. These are typically a bit taller than other covers, which helps keep the bottom of your heater protected from the elements, which is a feature that we like.

The AZ Patio Heaters covers are made of a thin 210D polyester material and are UV Protected against color fading. This material is advertised as waterproof, which is a significant plus (though some reviewers have reported issues with water infiltration, especially through small rips in the cover). However, over time, many buyers have reported the material fading, and ripping, so beware. These covers feature a zipper for easily securing the cover to your heater, but there are no handles, cinches, Velcro flaps, or other security measures.

The AmazonBasics line of products is manufactured and sold directly by Amazon, and it’s hard to find a more reputable brand than Amazon! And these covers are good. They are well made, with a good feature set, nice looks, and a decent one year warranty. They’re just not, well, great. The price point they hit is not so far off from the Ravenna line of covers, and AmazonBasics only offers a 1 Year Warranty, as compared to Lifetime for the Ravenna Covers. For this reason, it’s hard to get particularly enthusiastic about these patio heater covers. They come in two configurations, one for upright pole style heaters, and one for pyramid style heaters. We will look at both below.

AmazonBasics Pole Style Heater Cover

The AmazonBasics Pole Style Heater Cover features a two-layer fabric system, a woven fabric outer layer, and a water-resistant (practically waterproof) inner laminated fabric layer for further protection. These covers are attractive and fit pretty snugly without awkward wrinkling. The AmazonBasics covers are a little taller than the Ravenna and Veranda covers, and do a better job covering the entire pole heater, down to the ground. This may get in the way of using the wheels to maneuver the cover, but it also ensures the entireunit gets covered, which is a plus in our book.

AmazonBasics Pyramid Style Heater Cover

The AmazonBasics Pyramid style patio heater cover preserves the pyramid shape of the heater when the cover is on and does a good job protecting the heater from the elements when placed on the unit. The AmazonBasics cover is a nice color, and blends with most patio and outdoor environments. We should note that this cover is designed to fit four-sided pyramid heaters with square reflectors only. If your heater has only three sides or a round or triangular reflector, it will probably not work with this cover.

Air vents are present, and they are designed in such a way that water should not be able to intrude through the air vents. The air vents help to keep condensation and moisture away from the unit and help allow fresh air to travel through the cover to prevent it from billowing. Cinches are also included at the bottom of the cover, to enable users to tightly secure the cover to the bottom of the heater. Amazon does not mention whether the cover is UV protected, though we suspect that it is. The AmazonBasics line of covers tends is a fairly dark material, and usually the darker the fabric, the quicker it fades in the sun. That this fabric doesn’t fade rapidly in the sun suggests that AmazonBasics has treated the fabric with some sort of UV Protection spray.
