For those budget conscious connoisseurs of garden art, we present the Outsunny 84″ Wooden Garden Arbor [Amazon Link] [Wayfair Link]. Its simplistic beauty will compliment any outdoor space at a price that is equally attractive. This is a great choice for a wedding arch as well!

It is easy to put together, which is always a plus. The Giantex comes with simple to follow instructions and all the hardware needed.
Assembly should take between one and two hours depending on how handy you are. The arbor should be secured in concrete or have some other anchors attached to the legs for support, as you don’t want it to fall over or snap once you’ve got it built.
This arbor isn’t super heavy but seems to be well made, especially for the price.

The Greenstone Arch Arbor, one of two Greenstone branded arbors on our list, is an attractive arbor with pretty simple lines. The frame is capped with a softly curved top, and the sides are coated in lattice panels that add beauty and support for your climbing plants and vines.
This arbor would be a nice feature at the entrance to a walkway or garden.

The Details
The Greenstone Arch Arbor is an attractive garden arch. It features a nice curved top and evenly spaced slates down the sides, perfect for your climbing plants.
It’s a little heavier than the Giantex, but still should be anchored to help with stability. It is fairly easy to assemble with all necessary parts included. The staking kit is a nice addition. The company does not specify what type of wood they actually use, although one retailer referenced cypress wood, which is what we believe it is.
Several buyers have complained that the Greenstone arbor is a bit on the “flimsy” side, despite the fact that this arbor weighs more than the previous arbor we reviewed. There may be some quality control issues for this product.
Also, while this arbor is available painted white, it’s still a wood arbor and is not maintenance free like a white vinyl arbor might be. Several people who purchased the white painted arbor found issues with the paint coverage, so beware: you may have to paint this one again after you purchase it.
It did receive many positive comments from satisfied customers, but the price is higher than two of our top choices, without any noticeable quality upgrade.
The Bottom Line
The Greenstone Arch Arbor is attractive and functional for most of the customers that purchased it. There is some question regarding quality control by some buyers, so if you love this one, be sure to check it thoroughly when you purchase it.

The Arboria Nantucket Garden Arbor Cedar Wood is our runner-up choice, and with the exception of price, is really the best wooden arbor around. The Nantucket Garden is beautiful, features superior construction, and is made in the USA of 100$ Western Cedar. This arbor is substantial enough to handle even your heaviest vines and will provide lasting beauty for many years to come.
The price to quality ratio is a bit out of whack, though, which is why it landed as the runner-up.
Those who have the Arboria Nantucket Garden love it; it really is a wonderful addition to the garden.
It is easy to put together (an extra set of hands would be helpful) and comes with everything you need. The Nantucket features mortise and tenon joints, which has been used by furniture makers for many years. It is the only arbor reviewed today with that type of construction—and the only one built in the USA.
The only downside to this arbor (and the reason it is the runner-up instead of best choice) is the price. It was the most expensive arbor reviewed here, but we believe that is due to the quality and the fact that it’s made from real cedar instead of fir or another softwood. Still, a lower price would be welcome
The Bottom Line
If quality construction and the beauty of real 100% cedar is what you’re after and you don’t mind paying a few more dollars, you won’t be disappointed with the Nantucket Garden Arbor.

The Details
The Greenstone American Bungalow Arbor is made by the same company as the earlier reviewed Greenstone Arch Arbor. Many of the construction details are the same—easy assembly and no indication from the manufacturer as to what type of wood was used except for a reference from a retailer that it is cypress.
It will take about an hour to assemble, and it’s a good idea to have a little help to make the going easier.
Like the other Greenstone arbor mentioned above, quality control is a concern with this arbor. There are perhaps more reports of quality issues here than the other arbor, virtually all of which had to do with missing or damaged pieces and parts. So be sure to check that everything is present and in good order when you receive it (or choose a different arbor!).
Those that received an intact arbor really seem to love it once it’s together. Unfortunately, the price is quite a bit higher for what you get in quality.
The Bottom Line
Very attractive arbor and functional if you get one that is not damaged or has missing parts. The price is the second highest of the arbors reviewed but the quality, in our opinion, doesn’t warrant the price tag.
As with the Greenstone Arch Arbor, the addition of a staking kit is a nice feature, but the quality issues are a concern.

This arbor should handle most of your climbing plants, except for very thick and heavy climbers such as wisteria or trumpet vines.
The Outsunny arbor is a cinch to put together, and it comes with all the required hardware. You’ll need a way to anchor it to the ground if you plan on having it outside in your yard or garden.
Because of the price and the fact that, due to the simple design, it would be easy to decorate with anything you wanted, this would also make a great arch for a wedding or special event.
