The quality of this hanging chair pod is not bad considering the price point OUTREE is going after. While the outside of the chair is made from 100% pure cotton, the inflatable cushion inside is made from PVC. Both are extremely durable materials and likely to last a while.

Inflate the PVC bladder to get started, and deflate it and fold it up for easy storage and transport. The design is quite simple and well thought out.

With this Outree kids hanging chair pod, everything you need to hang it is included in the package.  However, the instructions aren’t great, and you may find it easier to just get a separate hanger like this Marathon swing hanger.

And while it is a kids chair, the manufacturer recommends this pod for kids ages 2 and up.

The Bottom Line

The OUTREE pod chair looks good, the price is good, and the quality isn’t bad. The fact that there are so many color options and 2 different styles to choose from is also a huge bonus.

Where this child’s hammock pod chair falls short is not really in the chair itself but more in the installation of it. You do get all the hardware you need to hang it included in the package, but the instructions leave a lot to be desired.
