Because of its lighter weight, however, it is not recommended for heavy vines, but there are many climbing plants that would be well suited for this arbor such as clematis, honeysuckle, jasmine or even climbing roses. It would also be perfect to use for a wedding (add some wedding string lights!) or other special summer gatherings, as it is easily moveable.
This arbor is low maintenance—simply hose it off when it looks dirty—and is made from weather-resistant PVC vinyl. That means years of use without extra work or worry.

It is easy to assemble with an extra set of hands and comes with predrilled holes to take the guesswork out of lining everything up. A few customers complained that things did not line up well despite having the predrilled holes and, once built, the structure was not symmetrical.
This may be poor QA by Dura-Trel, but it is most likely assembly errors. To avoid this circumstance, it’s always best to start all of the screws in this arbor, and then go back for a second round and tighten everything up. This way, you can be sure everything is aligned.

Because it is a bit lighter than many of the other arbors on our list, we wouldn’t recommend it for a hefty vine such as wisteria, but it should handle most anything else with no problem.
If you are going to train a heavier vine on this arbor, we recommend using additional anchors or setting the posts in concrete for added stability.
The Providence is easy to assemble if you have a couple of people to work on it, and it comes with instructions, steel ground stakes, and all the hardware needed for construction.
It also features predrilled holes to help you line everything up, though as we’ve said, it’s always wise to start all the screws in, and then go around a second time and tighten everything up fully.
