Sunbrella Lumbar Pillows: Which are the Best?
Lumbar pillows can be extremely helpful for making seating more comfortable, providing back support, and providing interesting aesthetic designs to complement a couch or chair. These pillows are typically much wider than they are tall, and they often feature extravagant designs and pops of color. If you’re tired of the traditional gray and tan tones commonly found in patio furniture fabric, a couple of bright, powerful lumbar pillows can change the whole look of a piece of patio furniture. This article focuses on Sunbrella lumbar pillows for indoor and outdoor use. Sunbrella is probably the best outdoor fabric available and is UV, water, and stain-resistant. Several companies make outdoor lumbar pillows with Sunbrella fabric, and we look at several different options here.
Sunbrella Fabric
Sunbrella fabric is considered to be perhaps the best outdoor fabric available. It is made of Acrylic and is solution dyed, so that the color goes all the way through the fibers, as opposed to just covering the exterior of the fibers. Sunbrella is UV-resistant, mold resistant, water-resistant, and very easy to clean! It is the ideal outdoor fabric (except for the cost!). We still suggest you store your outdoor pillows when not in use, even if they are made of Sunbrella fabric. All fabrics will fade over time and will get dirty and pollen-covered. While Sunbrella can be cleaned off, it’s usually easier still to store them in a deck box or other storage system in order to keep them protected and pull them out when needed.
