The chair is made of PE wicker, which is a reasonably high-quality material that can be left out in the sun and rain without damage. The frame is made of iron and is solid. Though no iron actually touches the ground, some users have reported rust spots forming at the bottoms of the chair legs, so beware. It would be wise to pick up a furniture cover for these chairs if you plan to leave them exposed to the weather. The cushions are rather thin, and are acceptable in quality, though over time you may want to replace them with something a bit thicker, and with higher quality fabric. The included white cushions are a great start, however.

The Estrella chaise lounge can be positioned in five different ways: four angled positions, and completely flat. This chair can be used as a bench if it is positioned flat. Be sure to consider the weight limit if there are multiple people sitting on it.

Assembly and Care

Assembly of this outdoor chaise lounge is as simple as can be. All that is required is to attach the legs to the body and to secure the cushion straps. The seat cushion covers have zippers on them to enable users to unzip the cushions and wash them. The fabric is not Sunbrella, and will almost certainly get dirty over time. We strongly suggest covering the chair or storing the cushions in a deck box when not in use. The white cushions look great when new, but they are hard to keep clean. The good news is that they won’t fade!

You can choose to purchase them without a cushion at all or go with cushions. The chaise lounge is quite comfortable even without cushions. Unfortunately, you cannot purchase cushion covers from Lakeport, so if you want to replace them, you’ll need to find a different universal cushion that fits or make something custom. For those looking to partially submerge their chaise lounge in the water, the Keter Pacific chaise lounge would be an excellent option. There are four adjustment settings, including an option to lay the chaise lounge completely flat. The Keter Pacific chaise lounge set is an attractive, contemporary-styled lounge chair that supplies a great deal of comfort. With a gently curving, modern minimal design, the Lisbon set of outdoor chaise lounge chairs provides unparalleled beauty and comfort. The wood is finished in an attractive yellow patina. No cushion is provided, though a generic chaise lounge cushion should fit, and would likely look nice. Most users find that they don’t need a cushion, and just use a towel for a little extra buffer. These chairs are not adjustable, and cannot be configured to lay flat. Consequently, you can’t lay down on your stomach in the Lisbon chaise lounge. For those that struggle to get in and out of chairs, a higher chaise lounge may be a better option.
